On a recent trip to Courtenay, my husband and I added on the sauna to our stay. It sounded like a unique experience and we have been reading a lot about the health benefits of the Nordic Cycle, the “hot sauna cold plunge” and how the benefits are both physical and psychological, and immediately noticeable.

We were not disappointed! After the first night I had one of the best sleeps I have had in months, and noticed the next day that my skin felt plump and hydrated. The second night we added more steam and enjoyed the experience even more.

We had the Nomadic Sauna at our house on a rainy night and we could not have asked for a better way to beat the winter blahs. They bring a sauna to your house or the spot of your choice, along with firewood and all you need to relax in their portable cedar sauna. The service cannot be beat and they are incredibly easy to work with. This is a great way to get your friends together, enjoy some intense heat and get re-energized for whatever weather is coming up! I highly recommend this amazing service!
